Matthew Sullivan is an experimental musician, sound artist, and recording engineer based in Baltimore, MD out of Mobtown Studios.  Recently Matthew has collaborated with artists like Thomas Dolby (Capitol/EMI), Nudie Suits (EHSE Records), Microkingdom, James Nasty, and Loren Hill; working across the full span of musical genres from orchestra and rock bands, to narration for audiobooks and audio post-production.

    He enjoys tape-machine calibration, free improv, analog compressors, and synthesizers of all kinds. He has a knack for helping artists explore what makes them unique, and is obsessed with trying to find new and creative ways to make recordings sound great. Matthew graduated from the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins with both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Recording Arts and Computer Music Composition.
